I have always been attracted to beautiful ethnic fabrics. Wherever I go whether in Europe or Asia, I am always looking for new material. My particular pleasure is making unique, beautiful apparel and accessories utilizing vintage kimonos and kimono fabric, Japanese silk, handmade Japanesee fabrics, Indonesian batiks, Indian kanthas, obi and haori.
My boutique seeks to offer the best of the Soho shopping experience with sophisticated, original collections. I have been a designer of women’s fashion since my first job in Tokyo in 1979 and am in my store most days of the week, making me a rarity in Soho as a designer available to her retail customers. So whether you’re looking for something completely new or something new with a bit of the old, like fabric from old Japanese kimonos, you’re personally welcome to visit me at my store or to do some online shopping right here. |
